Gary, Jessie and Crew at Eagle Pride Construction have done a great job on our Master Bedroom and Kitchen Remodel. I had a few ideas of what I wanted and they carefully explained what would and wouldn’t work. For the things that wouldn’t work, they gave me some great ideas to improve upon what I wanted. The quality of the work is great. We are very pleased we chose to go with EPC.

I'm in the process of doing major exterior renovations to my home. Boxing in the eaves for weather protection and aesthetics, replacing/removing damaged fascia, painting, replacing a storm door and repairing around the window frames. Gary has the patience of a saint. He explains the breakdown of the cost and materials involved to do the project. He shows up and explains the process when I get overwhelmed and am ready to give up. If you need someone to do the job right the first time and explain the reasons certain construction processes are beneficial compared to other methods, EPC Construction is the way to go. I am looking forward to the completion of this exterior renovation and know it will be as successful as the kitchen remodeling project they did for me in 2024.Posted on Google![]()

Big thank you to Eagle Pride Construction! From beginning to end Gary, Jessie, Candy, Chris, Eric and all trades involved were easy to work with, professional, and efficient. True craftsmen. The timeline on my project to gut, redesign and remodel a bathroom and lay 3 rooms of wood flooring was done on time with efficiency and precision. They will definitely be my first and only call when I need additional work done.Posted on Google![]()

Interviewed a number of contractors to handle some major home restorations and EPC had by far the best vision for the project. They handled every aspect of the project, from planning to scheduling and the work itself. That was a huge bonus, since I live out of state and wasn't able to be there regularly. There were no surprises and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. They did what they said they'd do and when they said they'd do it. Highly recommend their services.+6Posted on Google![]()

We hired Eagle Pride Construction to remodel two bathrooms, install tile and LVP flooring. We were very happy with the outcome and especially liked working with Jesse! The staff at Tile Co were very helpful too and had a great selection of tile. Overall very impressed and especially liked Gary's 10-year guarantee of his work.+0Posted on Google![]()

Jesse and Gary were instrumental in helping my wife and I navigate through our construction after a massive water leak destroyed our kitchen. We would be lost without these guys. I highly recommend Eagle Pride Construction to everyone.Posted on Google![]()

Eagle Pride Construction has done numerous projects for our home over the years, from minor repairs to major structural work including a balcony addition and design, and sewer line replacement required by the county. The quality of the work is fantastic, the cost is reasonable, and the people are amazing. I highly recommend them for all your projects, big or small.Posted on Google![]()

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is a tub-to-shower conversion?
A tub-to-shower conversion replaces an existing bathtub with a shower. Options include tile showers, preformed shower stalls, curbless walk-in showers, or curbed showers with glass doors. Conversions improve access, modernize the bathroom, and reduce slippery surfaces.
2. How long does a typical tub-to-shower conversion take?
Most tub-to-shower conversions in Ventura County take 3–7 days, depending on scope. Tile work, plumbing changes, permits, and any subfloor or mold repairs can affect timing.
3. Do I need a permit for a tub-to-shower conversion in Ventura County?
Often, yes—especially when plumbing is altered or walls are opened. Eagle Pride Construction manages permit processing and ensures all work meets local codes and inspections.
4. Can you make a curbless (zero-threshold) shower during conversion?
Yes. We install curbless showers and new shower pans to create seamless entry. Curbless options improve accessibility for older adults, those with mobility limitations, and buyers seeking modern features.
5. Will a tub-to-shower conversion increase my home value?
A properly executed conversion can increase appeal, especially for buyers who prefer walk-in showers and accessible bathrooms. It also modernizes the space and often improves durability.
6. What shower materials do you install?
We install tile showers, acrylic or solid-surface shower stalls, custom shower walls, and prefabricated pans. Materials are selected based on durability, maintenance needs, and budget.
7. Do you install grab bars and safety features?
Yes. We can add grab bars, benches, non-slip tile or flooring, and hand-held shower fixtures to enhance safety—especially helpful for older adults or recovery needs.
8. How do you prevent mold and water damage during conversion?
We remove water-damaged materials, install proper waterproofing behind shower walls, use quality shower pans and drains, and ensure correct slope to prevent standing water and mold growth
9. What is the difference between a shower pan and a curbless floor?
A shower pan is a prefabricated base that directs water to the drain and is commonly used with curbed showers. A curbless floor uses a sloped subfloor and waterproofing for a seamless transition. Both require professional installation to perform correctly.
10. How do you handle costs and written proposals?
We provide a free consultation and verbal estimate. Detailed written proposals are available for a fee. Our team explains labor, materials, and permits so you can make informed decisions.
11. Can a tub-to-shower conversion address slippery surfaces?
Yes. We recommend non-slip tile finishes, textured shower floors, and accessories that reduce slip risk. Proper slope and quality drains also help prevent standing water.
12. Will replacing my tub expose plumbing problems?
Sometimes. During demolition, we inspect plumbing and subfloor conditions. If issues are found, we provide clear options and recommendations for repair or replacement.
