Gary, Jessie and Crew at Eagle Pride Construction have done a great job on our Master Bedroom and Kitchen Remodel. I had a few ideas of what I wanted and they carefully explained what would and wouldn’t work. For the things that wouldn’t work, they gave me some great ideas to improve upon what I wanted. The quality of the work is great. We are very pleased we chose to go with EPC.

Gary and his team are extremely thorough and very detail oriented. True professionals. The honesty and integrity that Gary and his crew display is a breath of fresh air. Remodeling can be a disruption to our normal daily routine, but they were expeditious in their efforts to complete the project quickly while still delivering a fabulous product! I Highly recommend Eagle Pride Construction.

I'm in the process of doing major exterior renovations to my home. Boxing in the eaves for weather protection and aesthetics, replacing/removing damaged fascia, painting, replacing a storm door and repairing around the window frames. Gary has the patience of a saint. He explains the breakdown of the cost and materials involved to do the project. He shows up and explains the process when I get overwhelmed and am ready to give up. If you need someone to do the job right the first time and explain the reasons certain construction processes are beneficial compared to other methods, EPC Construction is the way to go. I am looking forward to the completion of this exterior renovation and know it will be as successful as the kitchen remodeling project they did for me in 2024.Posted on Google![]()

Big thank you to Eagle Pride Construction! From beginning to end Gary, Jessie, Candy, Chris, Eric and all trades involved were easy to work with, professional, and efficient. True craftsmen. The timeline on my project to gut, redesign and remodel a bathroom and lay 3 rooms of wood flooring was done on time with efficiency and precision. They will definitely be my first and only call when I need additional work done.Posted on Google![]()

Interviewed a number of contractors to handle some major home restorations and EPC had by far the best vision for the project. They handled every aspect of the project, from planning to scheduling and the work itself. That was a huge bonus, since I live out of state and wasn't able to be there regularly. There were no surprises and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. They did what they said they'd do and when they said they'd do it. Highly recommend their services.+6Posted on Google![]()

Eagle construction worked on my special needs sons home. They did kitchen cabinets, floors, back splash, pantry , moved sink and dishwasher, added safety railings to shower, installed curtain rods, new laminate and tile floors along with paint. I would say they exceeded expectations. Very friendly staff, very helpful, worked around my so sons schedule and needs. I’m very happy and excited about how good the work is. I will definitely recommend this company , and use them again in the future. Thank you ! Before and after of kitchen !+2Posted on Google![]()

We hired Eagle Pride Construction to remodel two bathrooms, install tile and LVP flooring. We were very happy with the outcome and especially liked working with Jesse! The staff at Tile Co were very helpful too and had a great selection of tile. Overall very impressed and especially liked Gary's 10-year guarantee of his work.+0Posted on Google![]()

Jesse and Gary were instrumental in helping my wife and I navigate through our construction after a massive water leak destroyed our kitchen. We would be lost without these guys. I highly recommend Eagle Pride Construction to everyone.Posted on Google![]()

Eagle Pride Construction has done numerous projects for our home over the years, from minor repairs to major structural work including a balcony addition and design, and sewer line replacement required by the county. The quality of the work is fantastic, the cost is reasonable, and the people are amazing. I highly recommend them for all your projects, big or small.Posted on Google![]()

Gary and his team beautifully transformed the tub and shower area of our old bathroom. They were on the ball with coming out quickly to take care of everything with no lag of days waiting in between steps. Always responsive to our calls. It was such a pleasure working with them. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is an in-law suite addition and how is it different from an ADU?
An in-law suite addition creates a separate living space inside or adjacent to your home with a bedroom, bathroom, and small kitchen or kitchenette. An ADU is a legally separate dwelling with different code and utility requirements. We design either option based on your goals and local regulations.
2. Can you add an in-law suite to an existing home?
Yes. We build attached in-law suite additions and convert existing spaces—such as garages—into comfortable in-law apartments when permitted. We assess your home and propose layouts that balance privacy and accessibility.
3. How do you handle accessible design for aging parents?
We incorporate aging-in-place features including wider doorways, ground-floor bedrooms, walk-in showers, grab bars, non-slip flooring, and easy access routes, following accessibility best practices.
4. Do you manage permits and engineering for in-law suite additions in Ventura County?
Yes. We provide full design–permit–build services, including architectural plans, structural engineering, and permit management with local jurisdictions.
5. Can the in-law suite have a separate entrance and utilities?
Many homeowners choose a separate entrance for privacy. Utilities can sometimes be separated depending on code and project scope; we evaluate options during design and recommend the best approach.
6. How much space do I need for an in-law suite?
Typical sizes range from studios (about 350–500 sq ft) to one-bedroom layouts (about 500–900 sq ft). We help determine the right size based on needs and budget.
7. Do you offer design help if we don’t know what we want?
Yes. Our in-house design team provides floor plan options, material selections, and accessibility recommendations to guide you from concept to final plan.
8. Will an in-law suite increase my home value?
A well-built in-law suite or ADU can increase livable square footage and property value. Market conditions vary; we’ll discuss value expectations for Ventura County during your consultation.
9. Do you provide free quotes?
We offer free consultations and a verbal estimate. A detailed written proposal is available as a paid service when you need a fully itemized quote.
10. What warranty do you provide on in-law suite additions?
We provide a 10-year workmanship warranty on our construction work.
11. How long does a typical in-law suite addition take?
Timelines vary by scope. Simple conversions may take a few weeks, while full attached additions with engineering and permits can take several months. We provide schedule estimates and regular updates.
12. Can you build a detached in-law suite or garage conversion?
Yes. We design and build detached additions, garage conversions, and ADU-style units when property conditions and local ordinances allow, handling all permitting.
