Gary, Jessie and Crew at Eagle Pride Construction have done a great job on our Master Bedroom and Kitchen Remodel. I had a few ideas of what I wanted and they carefully explained what would and wouldn’t work. For the things that wouldn’t work, they gave me some great ideas to improve upon what I wanted. The quality of the work is great. We are very pleased we chose to go with EPC.
Melanie Cavaletto
Gary and his team are extremely thorough and very detail oriented. True professionals. The honesty and integrity that Gary and his crew display is a breath of fresh air. Remodeling can be a disruption to our normal daily routine, but they were expeditious in their efforts to complete the project quickly while still delivering a fabulous product! I Highly recommend Eagle Pride Construction.

FAQs
1. What is aging in place remodeling and how can it help my family?
Aging in place remodeling adapts your home to remain safe, functional, and comfortable as needs change. We focus on universal design, fall prevention, and accommodating mobility aids so older adults can live independently. Common upgrades include non slip flooring, grab bars, curbless showers, and improved lighting.
2. Do you handle design, engineering, and permits for aging in place renovations?
Yes. Eagle Pride Construction provides full design, permit, and build services, including architectural plans, structural engineering, and permit handling throughout Thousand Oaks for a streamlined process.
3. Can you install grab bars or a walk in tub as part of a larger remodeling project?
Absolutely. We install grab bars, raised toilets, walk in tubs, and walk in showers as standalone upgrades or as part of full bathroom or home renovations.
4. Will you recommend universal design features for my kitchen and bathroom?
Yes. We design kitchens and bathrooms with universal design principles such as lower cabinets, pull out drawers, pull down shelving, touchless faucets, and accessible electrical outlets to improve safety and ease of use.
5. How do you reduce fall risk during an aging in place remodel?
We prioritize non slip flooring, curbless showers, layered lighting, proper grab bar placement, wider doorways, and level thresholds to reduce trip hazards and improve visibility.
6. Are you a certified aging in place specialist?
We offer experienced aging in place design and construction services and follow certified aging in place best practices when requested. If formal certification is required, we can coordinate with certified specialists.
7. How long do aging in place remodeling projects take?
Timelines depend on scope. Small bathroom or safety modifications may take days to weeks, while full remodels or additions typically take several weeks to months. We provide realistic timelines during the proposal phase.
